December is here and so is the time to celebrate and to spend with the ones you love the most. It does not matter what your reasons are for celebrating. Simply put, December is the time when we end the year and we look forward to the upcoming one; we tend to make plans and see what changes can we make in our lives. The way we spend the holidays is not important, what counts is that we enjoy them and we do not worry about everyday responsibilities. In Grand Hotel Rogaška, we have prepared a programme for December and the first days of January to celebrate the holiday time. On 13. 12. 2014 you will have the chance to visit a magnificent dancing tournament organised by Rolly dancing school and this will be the final and the most spectacular dancing tournament of this year held in our Crystal hall. The winner of the main tournament will be announced as well as the winner of the disabled dancing tournament. Entry is free for guests of our hotel, so do not hesitate to join us. On Christmas day, 25. 12. 2014 the great Crystal Hall will host a great Christmas concert by the pianist Maja Tajnšek and a flautist Alenka Zupan. As the acoustics are excellent in our Crystal Hall, it will be a lovely experience for all those in attendance. Entry is free and it starts at 20.00. On Monday, 29. 12. 2014 you should not miss a divine concert by the Music School of Rogaška Slatina. It will be performed by students who really put effort into making it a memorable event. Entry is free and it starts at 18.00. Another night to remember will be the New Year’s Eve celebration. It will be held in our Crystal Hall and the guests will have a chance to enjoy in a 6 course dinner and an entertainment programme by international musician Lucienne Lončina. A gala event will start at 19.00 and will ensure you have a night full of wonderful memories. The New Year will also be welcomed by a Gala New Years concert on 3. 1. 2015, performed by pianist Maja Tajnšek and tenorist Andrej Ažman. It starts at 20.00 and entry is free. On Monday and Tuesday 5. and 6. 1. 2015, the Crystal Hall will play host to an exclusive shopping event; you will have the possibility to see and buy products from worldwide high end brands. The event starts at 11.00 and entry is free! On Wednesday, 7. 1. 2015 at 10.00 you will have the chance to participate in the Orthodox Christmas Liturgy and in the evening, at 10.00, you are welcome to come to the Russian classics piano evening, performed by pianist Katja Sinkovič. Entry is free for both events, so you are welcome to join. Besides these events, our hotel will also host dancing and piano evenings, so there is no chance to be bored around here. Regarding our beautiful town of Rogaška Slatina, each Sunday until Christmas you can visit a bazaar where the locals will sell products and the children will perform by singing and dancing. As you can see, a lot will be going on this magical December, so come to Rogaška Slatina and enjoy it’s charm. 🙂
